Carnival Encounter's Sep. 26 Brisbane sailing still reaches Cairns at 9:30am on Sep. 29 and leaves at 8:00pm the same day. The overnight is gone. Townsville runs 8:00am to 4:00pm on Sep. 30. Carnival cites channel depth and tide limits. Sep. 30 Cairns shore excursions move to the 29th or refund.

Carnival Freedom is receiving a new whale-tail funnel during its current drydock at Chantier Naval de Marseille in France. The ship has sailed with a shortened, straight funnel since a March 2024 lightning strike. It returns to service Oct. 9, 2026, with an 8-night Mediterranean sailing from Barcelona, then heads back to Port Canaveral.

Celebrity Constellation leaves Civitavecchia on Sep. 21 with Kotor cut. A Dubrovnik berth conflict puts Dubrovnik on Monday 7:00am to 8:00pm and Bar, Montenegro, on Tuesday 7:00am to 7:00pm. Celebrity says prepaid Kotor shore excursions stay on sale with adjusted times. Independent Kotor pier plans need a rewrite.

MSC Poesia will not scenic-cruise Endicott Arm on its last Alaska sailings from Seattle. Juneau arrival moves to 8am from 2pm, adding six hours in port. The change covers the Sep. 7, Sep. 14, and Sep. 21, 2026 departures. The Sep. 21 cruise closes MSC's first Alaska season.

Norwegian Sun's Sep. 23 nine-night Baltic sailing from Copenhagen replaces Oslo and one sea day with two overnight stays in Copenhagen for required maintenance. You still embark on your assigned window. The ship leaves Friday Sep. 25 around 5pm for Warnemünde on Saturday.

Royal Caribbean named retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Lori J. Robinson godmother of Legend of the Seas. The Veterans Day naming ceremony is Nov. 11, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale. From there Legend sells six-night Western and eight-night Southern Caribbean cruises, each with Perfect Day at CocoCay.
