Norwegian Sun will not sail to Oslo on the 23 Sep 2026 Baltic cruise. Cruise Industry News and Cruise Hive both quote Norwegian’s guest notice. Required maintenance keeps the ship in Copenhagen for two overnights. Norwegian says safety is not affected.
Boarding still happens on day one
You embark in Copenhagen on Wednesday 23 Sep 2026. Norwegian is enforcing your pre-selected arrival window even though the ship stays docked. Arrive when Online Check-In tells you. Do not treat a late sailaway as a free morning at the hotel.
Ports that move
Oslo on Thursday 24 Sep is cancelled. The Friday sea day is cancelled. The ship stays in Copenhagen through Friday, then leaves around 5pm for Warnemünde, Germany.
Cruise Hive lists Warnemünde still on Saturday 26 Sep from 6am to 8pm. Later calls on that report stay Gdynia, Klaipėda, Riga, Nynäshamn, and Tallinn, with Helsinki arrival at 7am on 2 Oct 2026. Recheck your own revised itinerary document for any later tweak.
Credit Norwegian listed
Norwegian is issuing a $100 non-refundable onboard credit per stateroom. Cruise Industry News and Cruise Hive both describe it as $50 for guest one and $50 for guest two. That is goodwill for the Oslo loss, not a fare refund.
What you should do
Drop Oslo independent tours and rail plans. Use the extra Copenhagen nights for museums, day trips, or flexible dining. Keep Warnemünde and Berlin excursion bookings only if your latest NCL email still shows that Saturday call. Confirm Folio credit after you board. This write-up follows Cruise Industry News on 10 Sep 2026 and Cruise Hive on 20 Aug 2026.
