How we source
Why we publish our sources at all
Most cruise advice online repeats figures that were true two years ago. Drink prices move. Package pricing moves. Loyalty thresholds move. A confident number with no date attached is the most common way cruise content goes wrong, and you have no way to check it.
So we show the work. Every review and guide ends with the list of sources behind it, each one named and dated, so you can check any claim yourself.
What the tiers mean
Tier 1 is the cruise line speaking for itself: a published benefit grid, a press release, an earnings release, an SEC filing. Tier 2 is an established cruise-news outlet reporting something we could not get from the line directly, such as a quote from an earnings call.
Where a claim carries real weight and we could only find one outlet for it, we say so in the video and on the page rather than presenting it as settled.
We correct ourselves in public
When a figure we used before turns out to be stale, we say that plainly on the page instead of quietly swapping the number. Our Crown & Anchor coverage does exactly that with a beverage package price that no longer holds.
Freshness
Every page carries the date it was last checked. Guides get re-checked on a schedule, and anything price-sensitive gets re-verified before we republish.
Sponsorship
Sponsored segments are labelled on the page and disclosed on the video. A sponsor never influences a verdict, and no sponsor sees a post before it publishes.
