Who we are

No Fluff Cruising is operated by Matthew and Marlee. This policy covers nofluffcruising.com.

What we collect

We do not ask you for an account. If you use the newsletter signup, beehiiv collects the email you submit. If you email us, we receive the address and message you send.

Newsletter (beehiiv)

Homepage signup embeds a beehiiv subscribe form. The email you enter is processed by beehiiv under their privacy policy. We use it only to send the newsletter you opted into. You can unsubscribe from any issue. Dismissal of the homepage popup is stored in your browser as nfc-nl-dismissed for about 30 days so we do not keep showing it.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, and request path as part of delivering the site. See Vercel’s own privacy documentation for how that provider handles data.

Fonts

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google’s servers to fetch those files. Google may process technical data such as IP address under its own policies.

YouTube embeds

Ship tours and related videos use YouTube nocookie embeds behind a click-to-load facade. Until you click to play, we avoid loading the full player. After you click, YouTube may set cookies and collect data under Google’s policies.

Outbound partners

We link to booking and quote partners, including Member Cruises (nofluffcruising.membercruises.com). If you follow those links, those sites handle any information you give them under their own policies. We do not control their forms.

Analytics

If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured for the production site, Google Analytics 4 may collect page views and standard usage metrics (including campaign/UTM parameters when present). Otherwise no third-party analytics products are deployed.

How we use email

If you contact us, we use your email to reply. We do not sell email lists. We only add you to the newsletter if you opt in through the signup form.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email us at the address below to make a request. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date and text on this page are the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
