The short answerMSC Poesia will not scenic-cruise Endicott Arm on its last Alaska sailings from Seattle. Juneau arrival moves to 8am from 2pm, adding six hours in port. The change covers the 7 Sep, 14 Sep, and 21 Sep 2026 departures. The 21 Sep cruise closes MSC's first Alaska season.

MSC Poesia loses Endicott Arm scenic cruising on the last Alaska loops from Seattle. Cruise Industry News published MSC’s guest wording on 12 Sep 2026 for the 21 Sep sailing. Cruise Hive reported the same Juneau clock change earlier for the final three departures.

What you lose and what you gain

Endicott Arm is gone. MSC called it seasonal operational considerations. Cruise Hive cited a guest shipboard briefing that blamed shorter daylight and morning fog risk late in the season.

Juneau arrives at 8am instead of 2pm. Departure stays 10pm on the sailings Cruise Hive checked. That is six extra hours in Alaska’s capital. Use them if you already planned whale watching, Mendenhall, or a long independent day.

Which sailings are hit

Cruise Hive, citing Cruise Line Agencies of Alaska, tied early Juneau arrivals to the 7 Sep, 14 Sep, and 21 Sep 2026 Seattle departures. Those are Poesia’s last three Alaska weeks before the ship leaves for a Panama Canal reposition toward Miami.

If you are boarding on 21 Sep 2026, treat this as live for your cruise. Confirm the revised PDF in the MSC app before you lock nonrefundable tours timed for a 2pm Juneau arrival.

Compensation reports

Cruise Industry News said guests report a $50 onboard credit per person, capped at $100 per stateroom. That figure rests on guest reports filtered through a Tier 2 outlet. Check your Folio. Do not plan spend on a credit that has not posted.

What you should do

Cancel or rebook any Endicott Arm or Dawes Glacier tour sold against the old scenic window. Shift Juneau plans earlier in the day. Save MSC’s email and screenshot the Folio if the $50 credit appears. Facts above follow Cruise Industry News on 12 Sep 2026 and Cruise Hive on 2 Sep 2026.
