Celebrity drops Concierge Class canapés and waives the room-service fee

Concierge Class on Celebrity Cruises no longer lists afternoon canapés. What Celebrity lists now

The US Concierge Class page is the Tier 1 list. Under amenities it includes two complimentary welcome waters on embarkation day. Under services it includes complimentary room service, with the delivery fee waived. A footnote on that line says a 20 percent gratuity may apply. The same footnote sits on 24-hour room service.

Daily delectable delights is absent from that amenities list. The welcome aboard Concierge Class lunch is still there. Personalized concierge service is still there. Sparkling wine on request, the pillow menu, and the destination seminar are still there too.

The page does not print a start date. It does not print a dollar amount for the waived delivery fee. Treat the waters and the waived fee as what Celebrity is selling today. Treat the calendar and the old price as Cruise Hive’s until Celebrity prints them.

What Cruise Hive dates and prices

Cruise Hive says the change covers sailings that depart after Monday 21 Sep 2026. On those cruises, Concierge Class no longer receives the afternoon tray Celebrity called Daily delectable delights. Cruise Hive says the trays often included fruit, cheese, shrimp, sushi, hummus, charcuterie, and desserts, and that crew could adjust them to what you wanted.

In place of the tray, Cruise Hive describes the same two changes now on the benefits page. The delivery fee is waived. Two bottles of water arrive on embarkation day. Celebrity’s page says “welcome waters.” Cruise Hive says bottles. Neither source prints a size.

Cruise Hive puts the standard room-service delivery fee at $9.95 per order, plus a 20 percent gratuity. It says that flat fee replaced a $4.95 late-night fee on 30 Dec 2022 and then applied at all hours. It says the $9.95 charge no longer applies in a Concierge Class stateroom, and that you still pay the gratuity.
