You can book Celebrity Xcite’s first Caribbean season now. The winter 2028-2029 window went on sale on 3 Nov 2026. Summer 2028 opens on 9 Dec 2026.
The Celebrity release on PR Newswire is datelined Miami, 3 Nov 2026, 9:15 a.m. ET. Laura Hodges Bethge, president, is the executive in the quote. Seatrade Cruise News, Anne Kalosh, 4 Nov, matches the Xcite deployment and the short sailings on Celebrity Beyond.
The photo is the image on the release. The file name is Celebrity Xcite. No separate photographer is named. The page does not say if the frame is a rendering, and it does not date it. Seatrade’s caption credits Celebrity Xcite and lists the same ports.
What you can book on Xcite
Xcite is the sixth Edge Series ship. The release says she sails in 2028. It does not print the first departure date. It does not print a guest count. It does not print a fare.
The inaugural pattern is seven nights from Miami. The ports rotate through St. Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten, and the Dominican Republic. The Baths at Virgin Gorda is the one shore sight the release names.
Seatrade prints the same list and writes St. Kitts, not St. Kitts and Nevis. It says PortMiami. The release says Miami.
The other date that matters
Two on-sale lines are printed, and only those two.
- 3 Nov 2026. Winter 2028-2029 Caribbean sailings. That is the window that includes Xcite.
- 9 Dec 2026. Summer 2028 Caribbean sailings.
Seatrade’s 4 Nov story does not reprint those two dates. Use the release for the calendar.
The release says the lineup leaves from four Florida ports in 2028 and 2029. It does not print a sentence that names the four. The ship sections name Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Cape Canaveral, and Tampa. San Juan is also in the release. San Juan is not in Florida. Seatrade says Port Canaveral where the release says Cape Canaveral.
Short Edge trips, and the rest of the sheet
Celebrity Beyond runs nine three-night Bahamas weekends from Fort Lauderdale, November 2028 through March 2029. The release calls these the first short sailings on an Edge Series ship. Seatrade agrees, and it says Port Everglades.
The same Beyond paragraph says those trips can use Orange Peel Bar & Grille, Tacos del Sol, and Bora, which debut on the ship in November 2026. That line is about the venues, not about a 2026 Xcite sailing.
Longer Beyond cruises run eight to 11 nights and include six Panama Canal trips. Ports named with those cruises are St. Kitts and Nevis, Martinique, Barbados, Saint Lucia, and Antigua. Seatrade says the canal count is more than Celebrity has offered before. The release says six.
A few other rows are on the same sheet. None of them print a fare.
- Celebrity Summit. Four- and five-night cruises from Miami. Select sailings can visit Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau.
- Celebrity Eclipse. Weekend getaways from Fort Lauderdale, plus 11-night cruises from the same port.
- Celebrity Xcel. Six- and eight-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale. Southern calls are Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. Western calls are Mexico, Honduras, and Grand Cayman.
- Celebrity Silhouette. Eight- to 12-night summer cruises, called the line’s first full summer in the Southern Caribbean. Ports named are Barbados, Martinique, Saint Lucia, and Grenada. From October, seven-night cruises from San Juan have five port days.
- Celebrity Reflection. Year-round, six to eight nights from Fort Lauderdale. After a March 2027 transformation, 13 new spaces. Seatrade does not print the 13.
- Celebrity Ascent. Nine to 12 nights. The port list includes Grand Cayman, Aruba, Curaçao, Saint Lucia, Martinique, St. Maarten, Barbados, Antigua, and Turks and Caicos.
- Celebrity Apex. Back in Central Florida. The release says Cape Canaveral. Eastern calls are the British Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic, and St. Maarten. Western calls are Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Key West.
- Celebrity Constellation. Seven nights from Tampa to Key West, the Bahamas, and the Western Caribbean.
