Carnival Jubilee adds 4- and 5-day Galveston cruises

Carnival put short Jubilee cruises on sale for Galveston. The line’s 17 Sep 2026 newsroom release is Tier 1 for the dates and ports. This is the first time Carnival’s newest Excel-class ship runs a regular four- and five-day program from Texas.

Short itineraries now on the books

Four-day Western Caribbean sailings leave Galveston on select Thursdays from 27 Apr 2028 through 26 Apr 2029. The published call is Cozumel.

Five-day Western Caribbean sailings leave on select Saturdays and Mondays from 17 Apr 2028 through 30 Apr 2029. Those loops call Cozumel and Progreso in Yucatán.

If you wanted Jubilee without a full week off work, that product did not exist as a regular Texas pattern before this on-sale. It does now for 2028-29.

Longer trips in the same season

Carnival also listed a six-day Western Caribbean cruise on 29 Oct 2028 to Cozumel and Isla Tropicale on Roatán. An eight-day Bahamas cruise leaves 1 Apr 2028 for Celebration Key, RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay, and Nassau. An eight-day Western Caribbean cruise leaves 9 Apr 2028 for Cozumel, Isla Tropicale, and Montego Bay.

Those longer sailings keep Paradise Collection private destinations in the mix alongside the new short hops.

Caribbean Journal reported on 19 Sep 2026 that Carnival’s live site showed select five-day Jubilee Galveston cruises from $452 per person. That figure is a snapshot. Fares move by date, cabin, and taxes. Recheck carnival.com before you treat any number as current.

What you should do

Search Jubilee from Galveston for April 2028 onward if a four- or five-day Excel-class trip fits your calendar. Compare air and hotel nights against a seven-night Jubilee fare on the same ship.
