Carnival opened 2028/29 West Coast bookings on 1 Oct 2026. Late Cruise News, Cruise Industry News, and TravelPulse, all dated 1 Oct 2026, name Carnival Adventure, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Spirit. The trips cover Alaska, Hawaii, and Mexico. Cruise Hive, Melissa Mayntz, the same day, adds guest counts and some port lists. None of the four reports prints a fare.
Late Cruise News reads like a line release. No carnival-news.com post for these three ships turned up for this deployment. Carnival’s 27 Aug 2026 newsroom post is a separate Long Beach season, on Radiance and Panorama.
Which ship, and which homeport
Book Seattle if you want a seven-day Alaska cruise. Adventure and Spirit both sail that pattern.
Late Cruise News says Adventure relocates seasonally from Australia. It runs 18 seven-day Alaska Inside Passage and Glacier cruises from Seattle between 9 May and 5 Sep 2028. The calls are Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, scenic cruising in Endicott Arm, and Victoria, British Columbia. Cruise Industry News prints the same window and the same calls. TravelPulse calls it an Alaska debut from Seattle. TravelPulse does not mention Australia.
Spirit runs 18 seven-day Alaska cruises from Seattle between 11 May and 7 Sep 2028. Late Cruise News, Cruise Industry News, and TravelPulse name Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Endicott Arm, and Victoria on those weeks.
Book San Francisco if you want Legend. Late Cruise News gives Legend 10 four-day Baja cruises to Ensenada between April and August 2028. The same report gives Legend nine 10-day Alaska cruises from 15 May through 4 Sep 2028. Those calls are Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan at Ward Cove, Prince Rupert, and Endicott Arm. Cruise Industry News and TravelPulse match that list, including Ward Cove. Cruise Hive names Ketchikan on the 10-day Alaska cruises and does not print Ward Cove.
Book Long Beach if you want Spirit after Alaska. Late Cruise News says Spirit repositions there in October 2028 and sails Hawaii and Mexico through spring 2029. The Hawaii piece is 11 Carnival Journeys sailings, with Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii Island. The Mexico piece is three-day Baja trips, five-day Mexican Riviera cruises, and select eight-day cruises to Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. Cruise Industry News and TravelPulse print that Long Beach mix.

Legend sails a 13-day Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise on 28 Apr 2028 and a 15-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii cruise on 14 Sep 2028.
Spirit sails a 16-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal cruise from Tampa on 16 Apr 2028. It also sails a nine-day Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise from Seattle on 14 Sep 2028, plus 11 Carnival Journeys Hawaii sailings. TravelPulse says the Panama Canal cruise heads to Seattle. It does not name the ports in between.
What Cruise Hive adds
Cruise Hive prints nights for products the other three call days. A seven-day cruise in Late Cruise News is a 7-night cruise in Cruise Hive, on the same departure dates. Compare the date first. Then read the length label on the page you book.
Cruise Hive’s guest counts are 2,636 for Adventure and 2,124 for Legend and for Spirit. Those counts are not in the other three reports.
Cruise Hive says the 16-night Hawaii cruise on 21 Sep is roundtrip from Seattle and calls Nawiliwili, Honolulu, Kahului, Hilo, and Victoria. Late Cruise News does not print those Hawaii ports.
Cruise Hive says Legend’s 13-night cruise on 28 Apr calls Sitka, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Prince Rupert, and Endicott Arm. It says the 15-night Hawaii cruise on 14 Sep calls Kahului, Nawiliwili, Honolulu, Hilo, and Ensenada, then returns to San Francisco. Those port lists are in Cruise Hive. They are absent from Late Cruise News.
Cruise Hive says the Panama Canal cruise calls Grand Cayman, Cartagena, Puntarenas, and Cabo San Lucas, then arrives in Seattle. Cruise Hive also dates select nine-night Spirit Alaska cruises, with Sitka and Icy Strait Point, on 2 May, 14 Sep, and 23 Sep 2028. Late Cruise News names the 14 Sep sailing as a nine-day Journeys cruise and says select nine-day Alaska sailings include Sitka and Icy Strait Point. It does not print 2 May or 23 Sep.
What you should do
Pick the homeport, then the ship. A seven-day Alaska cruise from Seattle is Adventure or Spirit. A longer Alaska cruise from San Francisco, plus short Baja trips to Ensenada, is Legend. Hawaii and Mexico from Long Beach after October 2028 is Spirit. Open the date on Carnival’s site before you pay a deposit. These reports do not give you a price.
