You lose Le Havre on Thursday 5 Nov 2026 if you are on MSC Preziosa. The ship stays overnight in Zeebrugge.
Cruise.blog, dated 3 Nov 2026, and Cruise Mummy, dated 4 Nov 2026, both print a notice signed by Capt. Francesco Iacono. Cruise Mummy dates that notice 3 Nov. Cruise.blog does not put a separate date on the letter.
The photo is on the Cruise.blog page. The credit is Debbie Stewart / Facebook. The file name says an MSC cruise ship in Italy. It does not date the frame. It does not say the photo is Le Havre, or this week.
What the notice says
Cruise.blog prints the letter. Use those sentences.
A strike in France on Thursday 5 Nov is the reason. The quote says industrial action is expected to significantly affect transport and port operations across the country.
Cruise.blog’s quote cancels the call “in the interest of providing a safe and comfortable guest experience.” The ship stays in Zeebrugge overnight so you have more time ashore. Cruise Mummy prints the same overnight and the same captain.
Cruise.blog adds the captain’s close. The situation is “beyond our control.”
Which cruise this hits
The two pages do not print the same account of who is joining or leaving. Do not merge them into one route.
Cruise.blog says some people were due to get off in Le Havre, because MSC uses different ends of the cruise on the same ship. It points an eight-night Amsterdam-to-Rotterdam list at CruiseMapper, with a second Zeebrugge call on 10 Nov. This desk did not open that page. Treat the port names as Cruise.blog’s citation.
Cruise Mummy says some people were booked to start a cruise in Le Havre on 5 Nov. It says MSC has not said in public how those people will be accommodated.
The tour refund
Both articles say a Le Havre shore excursion bought through MSC goes back to the onboard account. Cruise.blog calls the refund automatic.
Neither article’s lines used here print a fare refund. Neither prints a flat onboard credit for the lost day. A tour you bought on your own is outside that sentence. Ask that operator.
This is a different ship from the October cut. MSC Virtuosa stayed overnight in Southampton and dropped Le Havre on 30 Oct. That letter is not this notice.
If your ticket says Le Havre on 5 Nov
Call MSC, or the advisor who booked you, before you go to that pier. The notice these two articles print does not give you a new port, a transfer, or a time to board.
If you are already on the ship, the replacement day is Zeebrugge. The letter says the overnight gives you more time ashore. Check the daily program for the hours. Cruise.blog does not print a departure clock, and this note does not take one from the other page.
