The short answerRoyal Caribbean Blog says agents were told on 30 Oct 2026 that Labadee comes off 44 itineraries through April 2028, across nine ships. A new port or a sea day depends on the sailing. The blog says prepaid Royal Caribbean shore excursions refund automatically. The travel-updates page, read 2 Nov, still covers only the rest of 2026.

If Labadee is still on a booking you hold, check the email and the app before you trust the public page.

Royal Caribbean’s travel updates, read 2 Nov 2026, still say every Labadee visit is suspended for the rest of 2026. That block is stamped 29 Jan 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. April 2028 is not on it.

Royal Caribbean Blog, Matt Hochberg, updated 30 Oct, says travel agents got a Friday notice that swaps Labadee out of sailings through April 2028. Travel Market Report, Michael Pihach, carried the same notice on 31 Oct. The photo here is the one on that Travel Market Report page, credited to Royal Caribbean. The file path is a March 2024 folder. The page does not say the frame was taken for this notice.

What the email says

The blog prints three lines from the note to agents. Travel Market Report prints the same lines. This desk has not seen the email itself.

The note says the line is sorry for the inconvenience, and that client safety is the priority. It says the replacement ports differ from the itinerary guests booked, and that the line still wants them to see those ports. The blog ends that last sentence with an exclamation mark.

The blog says the notice covers 44 itineraries on nine ships. Travel Market Report prints 44 and the same nine names. This post does not recount the dates.

Ship in both reports
Adventure of the Seas
Allure of the Seas
Explorer of the Seas
Freedom of the Seas
Harmony of the Seas
Independence of the Seas
Serenade of the Seas
Star of the Seas
Symphony of the Seas

A name on that list is not a promise that every cruise on the ship changed. The blog’s notes are date by date.

The blog says that three months ago the line had cancelled visits through July 2027. An earlier note on this site, Bayley on a Labadee return, records a 5 Oct Royal Caribbean Blog report that the pause ran through June 2027. June and July are both in print. This post does not pick one. The new horizon in the 30 Oct blog is April 2028.

A few replacements, so you can see the shape

These rows are groupings in the 30 Oct blog. Times are the blog’s. A row is one group, not the whole ship.

Ship and dates in the blogWhat the blog says you get
Allure of the Seas, 4 July through 24 Oct 2027, nine departuresNassau, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The second sea day moves to day 5.
Adventure of the Seas, 23 July 2027Cozumel, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Independence of the Seas, 8 July 2027Puerto Plata, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The San Juan departure moves from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Star of the Seas, 19 Dec 2027Costa Maya on day 4, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Cozumel the next day, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The blog says this replaces Labadee and Falmouth. The second sea day moves to day 6.
Symphony of the Seas, 23 Jan 2028Nassau, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The first sea day moves to day 3. Falmouth is the next day, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Harmony of the Seas, 19 Feb 2028Nassau, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The first sea day moves to day 4.

The blog also prints a long Adventure list that gets Grand Turk from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and many more Allure, Explorer, Freedom, Serenade, and Star dates. Some of those notes skip a second port, or move a time in Nassau, CocoCay, or another call. Read the date on the blog against your sailing. One Grand Turk day is not the plan for the ship beside it.

The blog says the changes cover the scheduled Labadee visits the line had already announced. It does not print a first day back.

What this means for you

Open the cruise in the app, and read the message if Royal Caribbean or your agent sent one. The travel-updates page is still the January 2026 text about the rest of 2026.

If your date is on the blog’s list, the Labadee day is gone, and another day on the same cruise may have moved with it. The blog says a prepaid shore excursion bought through Royal Caribbean refunds automatically. It does not name a tour you booked on your own. It also does not print a fare refund. The cruise is still a cruise, with a different port day.

The words above follow the travel-updates page read 2 Nov 2026, Royal Caribbean Blog updated 30 Oct 2026, and Travel Market Report on 31 Oct 2026.

Questions

Is Labadee cancelled on your cruise?

What replaces Labadee?
The 30 Oct blog gives no single replacement for every date. Allure dates from 4 July through 24 Oct 2027 get Nassau. Adventure on 23 July 2027 gets Cozumel. Harmony on 19 Feb 2028 gets Nassau. Star of the Seas on 19 Dec 2027 gets Costa Maya and Cozumel.
Do you get the cruise fare back?
The blog prints no fare refund. It says a prepaid shore excursion booked through Royal Caribbean is refunded automatically. It prints no dollar amount and no rule for a tour you bought elsewhere. Travel Market Report on 31 Oct prints the same email lines and adds no fare refund.

  2. TIER 2Royal Caribbean Blog, Matt Hochberg, updated 30 Oct 2026: travel agents received a Friday notice swapping scheduled Labadee visits for sailings through April 2028. The printed email lines are: We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Your clients' safety is our top priority. While we know it's not the original itinerary we planned, we appreciate your understanding and can't wait to explore these new destinations with your clients. The blog says that three months ago the line had cancelled visits through July 2027, that nine ships were updated, and that 44 itineraries which had included Labadee were updated. It says Labadee is a private beach the line has continuously operated in Haiti since 1988. It prints ship-by-ship replacement notes, including port times, moved sea days, and a few other port swaps. It says these changes essentially cancel all scheduled visits the line had previously announced. It says any prepaid shore excursion booked through Royal Caribbean will be automatically refunded. It does not print a fare refund, a refund timeline, or a rule for a third-party tour. The page does not include the email as a document, only the lines above.
