Harmony of the Seas moves Nassau to Sunday and CocoCay to Tuesday

Harmony of the Seas still goes to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay. The days moved. Cruise Hive, Melissa Mayntz, 24 Oct 2026, prints the email. TravelPulse, Eraine Wessler, updated 3:45 p.m. ET the same day, confirms the Nassau move and that both ports stay.
The cruise left Port Canaveral on Saturday 24 Oct 2026. It is due back Thursday 29 Oct. Neither article links a Royal Caribbean newsroom post. Neither prints a departure clock or a Thursday arrival clock.

What the two reports agree on
TravelPulse says passengers on Saturday’s sailing got a notice because of expected rough weather in the Bahamas next week. The departure date and the return date stay. Nassau and Coco Cay stay. Nassau moves from Tuesday 27 Oct to Sunday 25 Oct.
Cruise Hive says the email went out the day before embarkation, which is Friday 23 Oct. TravelPulse does not print the Friday timing.
The sentence Cruise Hive prints: due to a weather system expected to bring unfavorable conditions to the Bahamas next week, the line rearranged the order of the ports. It does not name a storm. TravelPulse calls it a storm system. That name is the article’s.
The new order
Cruise Hive is the report with the hours. It says the new times match the original time frames, on a different day.
| Day | Cruise Hive | TravelPulse |
|---|---|---|
| Sat 24 Oct | Leave Port Canaveral. No clock printed. | Saturday’s sailing. No clock printed. |
| Sun 25 Oct | Nassau, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. | Nassau, no hours. |
| Mon 26 Oct | Sea day | Not printed |
| Tue 27 Oct | Perfect Day at CocoCay, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. | Not printed. This had been the Nassau day. |
| Wed 28 Oct | Sea day | Not printed |
| Thu 29 Oct | Return. No clock printed. | Return date unchanged. No clock printed. |
The original order in Cruise Hive was a sea day Sunday, CocoCay on Monday, Nassau on Tuesday, a sea day Wednesday, then Thursday back in Port Canaveral.
Cruise Hive calls the ship a 5,697-guest ship. TravelPulse does not print a count.
A different Harmony story is already on this site. Warm water floods a Deck 10 hallway is the 26 Sep sailing. It is not this reorder.
The Canada changes are other ships. Independence of the Seas swaps Bermuda for Saint John is the Cape Liberty cruise. Vision of the Seas drops Bermuda, and that email says you stay aboard is the 17 Oct Baltimore cruise. TravelPulse mentions the Independence change in the same weather roundup. It is not this ship.
Tours
Cruise Hive says a shore excursion booked through Royal Caribbean for Nassau or CocoCay is moved to the new day. If it cannot be moved, it is cancelled and refunded as onboard credit on the SeaPass account. Credit left at the end of the cruise goes back to the card on file.
TravelPulse does not print that rule. Use Cruise Hive’s account of the email for the tours, and your own booking for anything you bought outside Royal Caribbean.
The email quotes do not say Royal Caribbean will move a spa treatment or a specialty dinner. Cruise Hive notes that the new port days can overlap those reservations. Check them yourself. The email, as Cruise Hive prints it, says further changes would be told to you onboard.
The forecast, which is not the email
The Bahamas public forecast issued at 6:00 a.m. EDT on Monday 26 Oct puts a gale warning of 34 to 40 knots on the Northern Bahamas and on the northern waters of the Northwest Bahamas, naming the Berry Islands and the Northeast Providence Channel, through early Wednesday. It tells small craft to stay in port and swimmers to stay on shore. It also says the highest tides of the year, with large swells, bring a moderate risk of coastal flooding through Wednesday, and that rip currents are a high risk on Atlantic coasts.
On that same product, Monday winds over New Providence are northeast to east at 15 knots, with higher gusts. The Berry Islands line on Monday is 20 to 25 knots, gusts up to 35 knots. Tuesday’s extended forecast has the Northwest Bahamas at 10 to 15 knots with higher gusts, and the Northern Bahamas at 20 to 30 knots with gusts to gale force.
The National Weather Service zone for the Northern Bahamas from 24N to 27N, issued at 4:20 a.m. EDT the same morning, has Monday seas of 10 to 16 feet and winds of 20 to 25 knots. Tuesday in that zone is still 20 to 25 knots and seas of 10 to 15 feet. Wednesday drops to about 10 knots and seas of 7 to 10 feet, outside the open-Atlantic morning line. The synopsis on that page puts seas to 19 feet north of a front. That 19-foot line is not the 10-to-16-foot range in the Bahamas zone.
This post does not put the ship inside either box. Cruise Hive’s Windy.com speeds, 30 mph, 25 to 27 mph, and 12 to 15 mph, are that article’s reading of a widget. They are not these two products.
A second email sentence in Cruise Hive says being onboard is one of the safest places to be because the ship can move out of the way of inclement weather. TravelPulse does not print it.
What this means if you are on this cruise
Sunday was Nassau, in both reports. Monday is a sea day, in Cruise Hive. Tuesday is CocoCay, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Cruise Hive only. Wednesday is a sea day. Thursday is the return, with no new clock.
If a Royal Caribbean tour was on the old day, look for it on the new day or on the SeaPass account. If you booked a spa treatment or a specialty dinner against the old sea day, the email quotes do not move it for you.
If you are going ashore, the Monday morning Bahamas forecast still has a gale warning through early Wednesday for the waters it names, and it tells swimmers to stay on shore. That is the forecast. It is not a sentence in the cruise email. Read the onboard note if the line changes the day again.
