The short answerOn Princess sailings that depart on or after 13 Oct 2026, Plus and Premier rise $5 per person per day. Fleet rates become Plus $70 pre-cruise and $75 onboard, and Premier $105 and $110. Sun Princess and Star Princess are $5 a day higher. The standalone four-device WiFi plan ends. A new two-device plan is $39.99 pre-cruise. Cruise Hive and Cruise Fever both report the change.

Princess is raising Princess Plus and Princess Premier by $5 per person, per day, on voyages that leave on or after 13 Oct 2026. Cruise Hive, dated 28 Sep 2026, quotes a letter to travel advisors from Carmen Roig, senior vice president of North America sales and trade marketing. Cruise Fever, also dated 28 Sep 2026, reports the same $5 increase and the same new fleet prices. No Princess newsroom release was located. The dollar figures below come from those two Tier 2 reports.

The date that matters is the day the ship leaves. Cruise Hive and Cruise Fever both tie the new prices to sailings that depart on or after 13 Oct 2026. A cruise you booked earlier still takes those prices if it leaves on or after that day. Neither outlet says Princess will rebill a package you already purchased.

What the packages cost

Cruise Hive prints the old daily rates and the new ones for most of the fleet.

Princess Plus moves from $65 to $70 a day if you buy before the cruise. On board, it moves from $70 to $75 a day.

Princess Premier moves from $100 to $105 a day if you buy before the cruise. On board, it moves from $105 to $110 a day.

Cruise Fever prints those four new fleet rates and matches them. It does not print the old rates. The $65, $70, $100, and $105 starting points are Cruise Hive’s.

Sun Princess and Star Princess already sat $5 a day above the fleet rates, per Cruise Hive. Cruise Hive says those ships are expected to move to $75 pre-cruise and $80 on board for Plus, and to $110 pre-cruise and $115 on board for Premier. Cruise Fever says each package costs $5 more per day on those two ships. It does not print $75, $80, $110, or $115. Treat those four amounts as Cruise Hive’s expected result of the extra $5.

Cruise Hive says Princess has not announced a change to what the packages include. It says crew appreciation inside the packages still goes to the crew. It lists drinks, casual dining, room service, WiFi, and crew appreciation in both bundles. It says Premier also includes unlimited specialty dining and drinks, shore excursion credits, reserved theater seating, and professional photos.

Roig’s letter, as Cruise Hive quotes it, says: “We periodically review our offerings to ensure they continue to provide meaningful benefits while reflecting changes in our operating environment.” The same report quotes: “We believe both packages offer strong value.”

Cruise Hive says the last increase, in July 2025, was $10 a day on Premier and $5 a day on Plus. Cruise Fever dates that earlier increase to 22 July 2025.

Cruise Hive says the first U.S. sailing on the new prices is a sold-out 10-night Mexican Riviera cruise on Ruby Princess, listed at 3,080 guests, leaving San Francisco on 13 Oct 2026. That sailing detail is in Cruise Hive only.

WiFi

The same departure date covers standalone WiFi, per both outlets.

The standalone four-device plan is going away. Four-device access stays inside Princess Premier. Cruise Hive and Cruise Fever both say that. Neither outlet prints an old four-device price.

Princess is adding a two-device plan. Both outlets print the same three prices:

  • $39.99 per day if you buy before the cruise
  • $47.99 per day on board for the full voyage
  • $55.99 for one day on board

The one-device plan’s new prices, in both outlets:

  • $27.99 per day if you buy before the cruise
  • $33.99 per day on board for the full voyage
  • $39.99 for one day on board

Neither outlet prints the previous one-device price. Cruise Hive says that one-device rate is being adjusted. It also says the ship’s WiFi network is MedallionNet, run on SpaceX Starlink.

What you should do

If your Princess sailing leaves on or after 13 Oct 2026, price Plus and Premier at the new daily rates before you buy. On Sun Princess or Star Princess, add the extra $5 a day both outlets describe, and check the ship total in your booking. The $75, $80, $110, and $115 figures are Cruise Hive’s expected math. If you need WiFi for more than two devices and you are outside Premier, the standalone four-device plan will be gone. Buy before you sail if you want the lower pre-cruise WiFi rate. Facts above follow Cruise Hive and Cruise Fever on 28 Sep 2026.
