Princess Cruises put its 2028-29 Americas season on sale on 13 Oct 2026. Amazon River cruising is back on a Princess route for the first time since 2014.

The PR Newswire release, Fort Lauderdale, 13 Oct 2026 at 10:39 ET, is the line’s announcement. Cruise Industry News, the same day, tracks that release. Seatrade Cruise News, Helen Hutcheon, 14 Oct 2026, adds two dates the release does not print, and it prints a different end date for the booking bonus.

What can you book?

The release lists more than 250 departures. The short end is a four-day West Coast trip. The long end is a new 64-day Circle South America sailing on Coral Princess.

Caribbean: 141 departures and 49 itineraries, five to 17 days, from Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, San Juan, New York, and Barbados. The release names Celebration Key, Isla Tropicale on Roatan, and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, as stops on many of those routes.

Panama Canal: 12 departures on nine itineraries, 16 to 20 days, on Coral Princess, Crown Princess, Island Princess, Ruby Princess, and Star Princess. Two voyages use the historic locks. Six transits use the newer Neopanamax locks.

Canada and New England: 17 departures on Regal Princess and Caribbean Princess, five itineraries, seven to 14 days. New for 2028 is Îles de la Madeleine. Seven Classic voyages include an overnight in Quebec.

Hawaii: 14 departures, with a late-night stay in Honolulu on every one. Roundtrips leave Los Angeles, San Francisco, and, back for this season, Vancouver.

Mexico: 35 departures from Los Angeles and San Francisco, seven to 11 days. Ports named include Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, and La Paz. Every 10-day Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez sailing includes an overnight in Cabo San Lucas.

California Coast: 18 departures, four to seven days, from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver. More Ashore late nights include San Diego, San Francisco, and Victoria.

South America and Antarctica: 13 departures across 11 itineraries, 38 destinations in 16 countries, on Majestic Princess and Coral Princess. The release names 17-day Antarctica and Patagonia voyages, 15-day Cape Horn and Glaciers of Patagonia sailings, and the Amazon return. Amazon cruising in the release is scenic cruising plus a call in Santarem, Brazil.

Coral Princess debuts the 64-day Circle South America voyage. The release says that cruise combines Antarctica, the Amazon River, and a transit of the historic Panama Canal locks.

Seatrade prints a Fort Lauderdale departure on 4 Jan 2029 and a return on 9 Mar. Those two dates are not in the press release. Treat them as Seatrade’s dates until you see them on the sailing you open. Seatrade also writes that this voyage sails the fjords of Glacier Bay, and it calls Coral Princess a 2,000-passenger ship. The press release does not say either of those things. Glacier Bay is an Alaska name. This post does not use that sentence or that passenger count.

What is the early booking bonus?

The release says the season is on sale now. The early booking bonus is up to $300 in instant savings, up to $300 in onboard credit, $100 deposits, early access to dining reservations and arrival groups, and a free room location upgrade. The release says the offer runs through 16 Feb 2027.

Cruise Industry News prints that same end date, 16 Feb 2027, with the savings, the onboard credit, and the $100 deposits.

Seatrade prints a different cutoff: bookings made by 26 Oct 2026. This page follows the 13 Oct press release. If the bonus is why you are booking this week, read the offer on the booking page before you pay. The release does not print a fare.

What this means for you

If you want the Amazon, the 64-day, or a 2028 Hawaii cruise from Vancouver, the season is open. Match the ship and the ports on the sailing you click. The release is a portfolio, and one region count is not your week. Plan the bonus around 16 Feb 2027 from the press release, and check the live offer before you rely on it. Facts above follow the 13 Oct Princess release, Cruise Industry News the same day, and Seatrade on 14 Oct.

  3. TIER 2Seatrade Cruise News, Helen Hutcheon, 14 Oct 2026: Coral Princess will sail a 64-day South America circumnavigation with Antarctica, the Amazon, and a Panama Canal transit, departing Fort Lauderdale on 4 Jan 2029 and returning 9 Mar. The article says Amazon cruising returns for the first time since Pacific Princess in 2014, and that the season is on sale now with early savings for bookings made by 26 Oct 2026. It also says there are 14 Hawaii roundtrips from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Vancouver, and that many Caribbean itineraries include Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. The article calls Coral Princess a 2,000-passenger ship. One route sentence says the ship sails the fjords of Glacier Bay on the way down the west coast of South America toward Cape Horn.
Seatrade Cruise News, checked 14 Oct 2026 · The 4 Jan 2029 and 9 Mar dates are only in this article. The 26 Oct 2026 bonus cutoff disagrees with the 16 Feb 2027 date in the press release and in Cruise Industry News. This post follows the press release on the bonus date. The Glacier Bay sentence and the 2,000-passenger line are not used. Glacier Bay is an Alaska place name, and the press release does not put it on this voyage.
