Paradise is not back in Palm Beach on Tuesday. The Port of Palm Beach alert, posted at 8:00 a.m. on Monday 26 Oct 2026, says the ship expects Wednesday 28 Oct, weather permitting. Cruise Hive, Melissa Mayntz, 26 Oct, and Cruise.blog, the same day, report the same return day. Freeport is off. Tuesday is Nassau.

The cruise you are on
Both articles say this sailing left the Port of Palm Beach on Friday 23 Oct 2026. It is a 4-night. It was due back on Tuesday 27 Oct. Both name Key West and Freeport as the ports. Cruise Hive says the ship had already been to Key West when Freeport was cancelled. Cruise.blog does not say whether that Key West call was finished.
| Day | What the reports say |
|---|---|
| Fri 23 Oct | Left Palm Beach. Both articles. |
| Mon 26 Oct | Freeport cancelled. Cruise Hive prints 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and calls Monday a sea day. Cruise.blog does not print the clock. |
| Tue 27 Oct | Nassau, in both articles. This was the Palm Beach day. No hours printed. |
| Wed 28 Oct | Palm Beach, weather permitting in the port alert and in the Facebook post Cruise.blog prints. No clock. |
Cruise Hive quotes the stateroom letter. Extreme weather is also expected at the Port of Palm Beach. The port authority advised that the ship cannot return on Tuesday morning. The sailing is extended by one full day. The return is Palm Beach on Wednesday 28 Oct.
Cruise.blog quotes a Facebook post from the line. The port authority advised that the ship will not be able to return on Tuesday 27 Oct. Weather permitting, the line now expects Wednesday 28 Oct. The two quotes agree on the day. They are not the same sentence. Use the letter for the “one full day” line. Use the Facebook post for “weather permitting.”
The port’s own alert matches the Wednesday date and the weather-permitting line. It does not mention Freeport or Nassau. It does not say the port is closed. Cruise.blog says a spokesperson told the Palm Beach Post the port was expected to close on Tuesday. This post does not treat that closure as confirmed, because the port’s alert does not say it.
Tours and packages on this cruise
Both articles say a shore excursion bought through Margaritaville for Freeport is cancelled and refunded to the stateroom account. A tour you bought yourself is not in that sentence. Call that operator.
Cruise Hive says a Wi-Fi or drink package bought for the length of the cruise is extended for the extra day at no charge. Cruise.blog says onboard packages are extended at no charge, from a spokesperson, and does not name the products. The port alert does not describe that extension. It describes a prorated refund, and it ties that refund to the sailing you can reschedule.
If you hold the Tuesday departure
The port alert is written to people who can move the 27 Oct 2026 sailing. Cruise Hive calls that the next cruise, a 3-night Nassau Escape. Cruise.blog calls it the upcoming delayed voyage.
| What you get | Port alert | Cruise Hive | Cruise.blog |

| How the credit works | Cash value. Service charges or gratuities. Unused balance back to the original payment in about 7 to 10 business days. | Not printed. | Same cash-value and 7-to-10-day lines. |

| New port plan | Not printed. | Not confirmed. Original plan was a sea day Wednesday, Nassau Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Palm Beach Friday 30 Oct. | Says the ship will not leave until Wednesday 28 Oct. |
The amounts use Monday 26 Oct information. The port alert and both articles say they can change if the weather, the itinerary, or the port guidance changes.
Cruise.blog is the only one of the three that states a Wednesday departure for the shortened cruise. Cruise Hive says the line has not confirmed those days. The port alert tells you the Tuesday return of the ship already out is off, and it lets you move the 27 Oct booking. It does not print the new departure clock. If you are meeting that ship, use the line’s latest message before you drive to Riviera Beach.
What this means if you are booked
If you are on the ship now, do not plan on Freeport. Tuesday is Nassau, with no hours in these reports. Look for the Freeport tour on your stateroom account. Your Wi-Fi or drink package should cover the extra day if the letter Cruise Hive prints was the one in your room.
If you hold the cruise that was supposed to leave Tuesday, call 1.800.814.7100 if you want a different date with no rebooking fee. The $50 credit and the prorated package refund are in the port alert. The new port days are not settled in all three reports. Check the line before you keep a Nassau plan for Thursday.
