Margaritaville at Sea opens a 2027 Annual Cruise Membership

Margaritaville at Sea replaced Paradise Pass with a 2027 Annual Cruise Membership. The line’s offer page and the pass page put the public price at $2,499 for two adults. The pass page shows $2,699 crossed out above that. Cruise Industry News and Travel Weekly, both dated 8 Oct 2026, reported the launch the same way. The line calls it the next evolution of Paradise Pass.
What does $2,499 cover?
Two adults. One cabin. Categories up to a Breezy Balcony. Round-trip sailings of up to 7 nights. The terms say the sailing has to depart and return on or before the membership ends.
The term runs from the day you buy it through 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on 31 Dec 2027. The offer page says the pass is valid immediately, and that buying earlier gives you more time, up to 15 months. Cruise Industry News says early buyers get approximately 15 months.
You can use it on Paradise, Islander, and Beachcomber. Cruise Industry News, citing the line’s release, puts Paradise at the Port of Palm Beach and Islander at Port Tampa Bay. It puts Beachcomber in Miami from January through September 2027, then Galveston from October 2027. That Miami-then-Galveston path is the one already on the Beachcomber rename post.
Suites are excluded. The terms say that if a balcony is gone on the date you want, the line may offer a lower category, or the balcony on another date, with no refund or credit. The offer page says upgrades are available. Ask for the price before you add one.
A third or fourth guest is extra. If you add them when you buy the membership, the line’s FAQ says they sail at no extra cruise fare, and everyone still pays taxes, fees, and port expenses. If you do not add them then, you pay the fare in effect when you book.
What do you still pay?
$2,499 is the cruise fare for the two of you. Every sailing still adds government taxes, port fees, and gratuities per guest per night. The terms also list a fuel supplement if one applies, parking, and anything you buy on the ship. The terms do not print a gratuity dollar amount.
Sail alone and the terms add a single supplement: $159 on a 2- or 3-night cruise, or $259 on a 4- to 7-night cruise. That sits on top of the taxes and fees. The second guest can be a different person on the next cruise.
One sailing means $2,499, plus those extras, for a single cruise of up to 7 nights for two people. The membership changes the math when you sail again. These pages do not print a cash fare to compare, so this post does not guess how many cruises it takes to come out ahead.
Cruise Industry News says returning Paradise Pass holders can buy in at $1,999 for a limited time. Travel Weekly calls it a $1,999 promotion for returning pass holders. The offer page and the pass page, read on 12 Oct 2026, showed $2,499 and did not show $1,999. If you held Paradise Pass, ask the phone agent whether $1,999 is still on your account before you pay $2,499.
The membership is non-refundable. Payment is due in full. The terms say there is no installment plan now. You have to be 18 or older and a U.S. resident. The line says a limited number of memberships are available. Owning one does not guarantee a cabin on a date that is open to the public.
The 2028 itineraries are a separate booking. This membership stops on 31 Dec 2027.
How do you book?
Call 1-800-814-7100. The terms say membership cruises are booked by phone, between 30 days and 24 hours before sailing. You cannot book them on the website.
You need the confirmation email and the membership ID first. The pass page says you get a cabin assignment when the reservation is confirmed.
One active booking at a time. The next cruise waits until the one you are on is over. Back-to-back is out. A membership sailing may not depart on the day you return, or on the day after.
Cancel at least 7 days before sailing. The terms treat a later cancellation, or a no-show, as a no-show. A no-show forfeits the membership. Reinstatement is up to the line.
Bookings cannot be combined with another offer.
Which dates are blacked out?
The offer page lists these departure dates. A membership cannot book them. The page says more blackout dates may be added at any time.

What this means for you
Buy it only if you will sail more than once before 31 Dec 2027, inside the 30-day window, on dates that are not blacked out. Price the taxes and the gratuities before you compare it with a normal fare. If you want the $1,999 returning-holder rate, confirm it on the phone. The public pages read for this post did not show it. Read the terms before you pay. The membership is non-refundable, and a late cancel can wipe out the rest of the year. Facts above follow Margaritaville’s offer page, pass page, and terms, read 12 Oct 2026. The $1,999 price and the homeport calendar follow Cruise Industry News and Travel Weekly, both dated 8 Oct 2026.
