Celebration Key expects about 3.5 million guests in 2027. Cruise Industry News, dated 30 Sep 2026, reports that figure from Carnival Corporation CEO Josh Weinstein on the company’s third-quarter earnings call. The same report puts 2026 at about 2.7 million, after the second pier opened. The first year welcomed almost 2.5 million. No Carnival transcript was located. The counts below come from that one Tier 2 write-up of the call.
The island is on Grand Bahama. If your Caribbean cruise adds it, you get a private-island day. The earnings release itself is a separate story.
Who calls in 2027
Princess begins calling next month. From a 30 Sep 2026 article, that is October 2026. Select AIDA and Costa calls follow late in 2027. Cruise Industry News says that brings the brands calling to four, and the ships to 31 in 2027, up from 26 this year.
Carnival Cruise Line is already in the mix. Weinstein said that in 2027, 35 percent of Carnival Cruise Line’s Caribbean capacity will pair Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, on the same cruise. Cruise Industry News calls those two different beach days. Both destinations now have their full marine infrastructure built out, which Weinstein said lets the company move more people through.
The other private islands
Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale, in Roatan, have each welcomed about 250,000 guests. Cruise Industry News says those destinations, combined, are expected to grow from 1.9 million guests in 2026 to 2.8 million in 2027, with seven brands calling. That combined line is the wording in the 30 Sep report. It sits on the sentence about Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale.
Weinstein said the guest response at Celebration Key has been exceptional. He also said the island has hit land-side capacity in its current build, and that the company has room to expand. He hopes to talk about a phase two. He said it is premature to discuss the details. Wait until Carnival publishes that plan before you change a booking for a new pier or beach.
The earnings call, briefly
Those destination comments came on the third-quarter call. Cruise Industry News, dated 29 Sep 2026, reported that quarter’s net income at $1.9 billion, with adjusted net income of $2.0 billion. That article does not print the Celebration Key guest counts. Use the 30 Sep article for the island. Use the 29 Sep article only if you want the earnings figures.
What you should do
If you sail Princess in the Caribbean from October 2026, check the day-by-day list for Celebration Key before you lock a flight. If you sail Carnival Cruise Line in the Caribbean in 2027, look for a cruise that pairs Celebration Key with Half Moon Cay. That pairing is the 35 percent figure Weinstein gave. AIDA and Costa calls are late 2027, and this report does not name the ships. Figures above follow Cruise Industry News on 30 Sep 2026.
