Carnival cut La Paz and Cabo San Lucas from Carnival Panorama’s 26 Sep 2026 Long Beach cruise. Cruise Hive, dated 1 Oct 2026, reports the new change and ties it to Hurricane Rachel. The ship returns to Ensenada on 1 Oct. 2 Oct and 3 Oct are sea days. Long Beach on 4 Oct stays. Carnival is posting $300 onboard credit per stateroom to your Sail & Sign account, and it is adding extra activities. This Rachel revision is in that one Cruise Hive report. The article does not link a Carnival newsroom post.

If this is your sailing, clear La Paz and Cabo. Budget one $300 credit for the stateroom.

What Polo already changed

This is the same 26 Sep Long Beach sailing that already lost ports for Hurricane Polo. Cruise Hive’s 1 Oct recap says the first revision cancelled Puerto Vallarta on 29 Sep and Mazatlán on 30 Sep. The ship called Ensenada on 28 Sep. The plan after that call was La Paz on 1 Oct and Cabo San Lucas on 2 Oct.

That Polo swap is a separate post on this site. It has the hours for the 28 Sep Ensenada call. It also has the Carnival tour refund for Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán. The 1 Oct article does not reprint them.

What came off for Rachel

Cruise Hive says Carnival adjusted the voyage again. Panorama goes back to Ensenada on 1 Oct. Friday 2 Oct and Saturday 3 Oct are sea days. Cruise Hive says the ship will not head further south. La Paz and Cabo San Lucas are cancelled.

Use this as the working list, then match it to the email in your account:

  • Thursday 1 Oct: Ensenada, a second call
  • Friday 2 Oct: sea day
  • Saturday 3 Oct: sea day
  • Sunday 4 Oct: Long Beach, the original return day

You call Ensenada twice, then you go back to Long Beach.

The article does not print arrival or departure hours for the 1 Oct Ensenada call. Book a tour only after the app shows the call and the clock.

The $300 credit

You get $300 onboard credit per stateroom. Cruise Hive says the credit posts to the Sail & Sign account. Carnival is also adding extra activities and events each day. The article does not name those events.

The Polo post did not carry this $300 figure. Treat $300 as the Rachel number from Cruise Hive on 1 Oct 2026. One stateroom gets one credit. The report does not split it by passenger.

The same article does not say what happens to a Carnival tour you bought for La Paz or Cabo. Open the app for that refund. A tour you bought outside Carnival is absent from the report. Call that operator yourself.

What you should do

If you are on the 26 Sep 2026 Long Beach Panorama cruise, open the Carnival app and the newest advisory. Drop La Paz on 1 Oct and Cabo on 2 Oct. If the app matches Cruise Hive, Ensenada is the 1 Oct call. The next two days are at sea. Long Beach is 4 Oct. Look for $300 on the Sail & Sign account for your stateroom. Facts above follow Cruise Hive, dated 1 Oct 2026.
