Royal Caribbean is asking some booked guests to leave the 27 Sep 2026 Allure of the Seas cruise. Cruise Industry News, dated 26 Sep 2026, and Cruise Hive, dated 25 Sep 2026, both quote the guest email. The ship still sails Sunday from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. If that email is not in your inbox, this offer is not yours.
What Sunday’s cruise includes
It is a six-night Western Caribbean and Bahamas sailing. Cruise Industry News lists Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau, and Falmouth, Jamaica. Cruise Hive lists those same ports and a return on Saturday 3 Oct 2026. No Royal Caribbean newsroom release was located. Both reports are Tier 2 write-ups of the line’s email.
The outlets disagree on size. Cruise Industry News says 5,552 passengers. Cruise Hive says 5,718 guests. Your confirmation is the number that matters, so the headcount stays out of the decision.
Can you move to 11 Oct?
The first option shifts you to Allure of the Seas on Sunday 11 Oct 2026. Cruise Industry News calls that date a similar six-night cruise to Jamaica and the Bahamas from Port Everglades. Cruise Hive, quoting the email, says the ports, the order, and the hours in each port match the 27 Sep cruise.
Take the move and Royal Caribbean refunds 100 percent of the cruise fare on the 27 Sep booking. Cruise Industry News says the line places you in a similar cabin category at no cost and reimburses non-refundable travel expenses caused by the change. Cruise Hive says that fare refund returns to the original form of payment, there is no transfer fee, and taxes, fees, and add-ons still apply on the new date. It names the spa, specialty dining, and a drink package. Those add-on details are in the Cruise Hive report only.
What if you cancel?
The second option cancels 27 Sep. Cruise Industry News says you receive a 100 percent refund of amounts paid for the cruise and additional services. The line also reimburses non-refundable travel costs, including hotel and flight cancellation or transfer fees. You receive a future cruise credit equal to 100 percent of the original cruise fare.
Cruise Hive reports the same payout shape. The refund covers funds paid, including non-refundable deposits. The future cruise credit is worth 100 percent of the cruise fare and can be used on another Royal Caribbean sailing. Travel-expense reimbursement is included there too.
Royal Caribbean does not give a reason in either report. A guess that the sailing is overbooked is not a published fact.
What you should do
If you have the email, price the 11 Oct cruise you would still owe in taxes and add-ons against the credit you would hold if you cancel. Reply only through the link in that email. Cruise Hive quoted guests who said a request is not a confirmed move. Wait for Royal Caribbean to accept it before you change flights. If the email never arrived, pack for Sunday.
